This nifty plugin lets you use your trackpad (or mouse) to control the sustain pedal and make subtle adjustments to the MIDI note velocity with the mouse wheel/two finger track gesture

The mouse can also be used to offset the octave on the fly as you play

And as bonus extras, 'q' key also toggles the sustain MIDI CC#64 on/off and keys 1 through 9 offset the octave up or down from whatever octave you are playing (5 resets to no offset)
